| John Wesley Steere & and George William Turner both trained as organbuilders with William Johnson, the celebrated Massachusetts builder. Steere & Turner opened their doors in 1867, and produced hundreds of organs until 1921 when Ernest Skinner purchased the business and merged it with the Skinner Organ Company. This is a noble organ with magnificent tone quality – an excellent candidate for restoration. It has a generous stoplist and would certainly grace a church’s music program. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
