$100,000, as is, where is.
Here’s a chance to acquire a Dobson organ with no waiting list. Built in 1988, this lovely instrument is compact and versatile. It has been maintained by the builder and is in excellent condition. Don’t miss this great opportunity.
The case stands 19’- 6” tall. In floor plan it is 9’-2’’ wide by 3’-9’ deep without the pedalboard. and it is 7’ deep from the back of its case to the back of the pedalboard. There would also need to be 20” to 24” behind the case for service access (case door panels open).
The case currently has its back against a wall, but the wall is completely open behind the organ at both floor and second-floor levels. This allows access to both lower and upper-level case doors. The swell is tuned from the front, through the shades.
The blower and reservoir are located in a second-floor room behind the case, so are placed at impost level more or less. The upper level of the case is accessed from that room, so there is no self-supporting tuning walkboard at that level presently. Some modification to blower placement and its connecting wind line, as well as the addition of a second-level wallboard, will be needed if the organ is moved to a freestanding position.
